Interested in League Bowling?

Question:  What is a league?
Answer:  League is an organised group of teams who compete on a weekly basis for awards.  Each team is made up of 2 to 5 people, competition style bowling.

Question: How many games are played in the league session?
Answer: Generally leagues bowl 3 games per person per session.

Question:  How often does a league bowl?
Answer:  A league bowls at the same time and day each week (excluding Phantom League).

Question:  Do I have to be a good bowler to join a league?
Answer: Not at all.  Leagues run on a system of handicapping which allows even beginner bowlers to bowl competitively against advanced bowlers.

Question: Can I join a league on my own?
Answer: Certainly.  We will place you in a team where you can enjoy the company and friendship of other league bowlers.  You are also welcome to field your own team.

Question: Is league bowling expensive?
Answer: Not at all.  In fact it is cheaper to bowl in a league than to bowl casually.  League bowlers are eligible for a range of discounts throughout the centre.

Question: Are there league awards?
Answer: Yes.  Awards are given out for things such as high game, high series, most improved, etc.  For both male and female which are presented at a league celebrtaion at the end of the season.

Question: Do I need to purchase any special equipment?
Answer: Bowling balls and shoes are all supplied.

Question:  How do I join?
Answer:  Either telephone or come into our centre and one of our friendly staff will assist you.
